About the Artist

Thank you for taking the time to look at my assorted works. I really appreciate it.

My name is Rex Rubens. I am a general artist located in Cebu, Philippines.

 Being a general artist means that I am able to do various forms of visual art and design: From traditional works, digital works, animation, film, editing, motion graphics, graphic design, and photography, down to 3D design and modeling. 

I am currently a co-business owner and creative head, together with my wife, of a small large format printing company. We provide whatever printing and laser cutting needs to our clients: Banners, stickers, die-cut stickers, acrylic keychains, and trophies.

 I am also a full-time assistant instructor (faculty/teacher) at the University of San Carlos here in Cebu City, Philippines. I teach character design, cartooning, photography, storyboarding, animation, and art direction to our future designers.

 I rarely do commissions anymore due to the level of work I am currently managing but if you want me to do some graphic designs, editing, illustrations and drawings, I will be more than happy to offer my creative expertise.

Right now, I am trying to make a tabletop board game. I am still at the conceptualizing stage. So if I am able to do it, I can add Table Top Game Designer on my portfolio.hehe Looking forward in completing it.
